Dit keer de Calliostoma zizyphinum, of te wel de gewone priktolhoren. Hij wordt ongeveer 35 mm hoog. De kleur is meestal roze met gele tot witte vlekken. Deze komt voor in de Middelandse Zee, de Atlantische Oceaan, het kanaal en de Noordzee. Nog nooit hier gevonden!
Wat was mijn uitgangspunt.... de gelijkenis met een pyramide. Op onderstaande foto is mijn compositie in photoshop gemaakt. Op 7 maart het resultaat.
Japan was een zeer bijzondere onderwerp, ook daar kon ik de Priktolhoorn gebruiken.

This time the Calliostoma zizyphinum. It becomes approximately 35 mm high. The color is usually pink with yellow to white spots. This occurs in the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, the canal and the North Sea. Never found here!
What was my point of departure .... the resemblance to a pyramid. On the photo below my composition is made in photoshop. On the 7th of March the result.
Japan was a very special subject, I could use these snail there too.
